Eva Samkova – Snowboard Sochi 2014 Olympics

I had the pleasure of interviewing Eva in Andorra. She is such an inspiration. She is a mother of four children and so sweet. For me Eva defines a women on a mission. She is so humble and after her win in Andorra I asked her how she was going to celebrate her victory. She simply responded, I am off to bed.

Whilst training I interviewed her and noticed she wore pearl earrings. There is a real feminine side to her in this masculine sport which is great to witness. You see as a women it’s always important to understand that you are a women. Eva is  so committed and the sacrifices all the snowboarders endure for each other is mind blowing. They are away from their family and friends for months.  Her coach is so committed and focused and how he serves her by training Eva is why this women is a champion.

Eva has her own signature helmet which is worn for the Sochi Olympic 2014 made by her friend.

I asked her why she painted this on every competition. It’s simply a good luck charm for her. Good luck Eva at the Olympics Winter Games at Sochi 2014.
