Kylie Minogue
Kylie Minogue is a true example of fashion beauty, a hard worker on every level. KylieX2008 became Minogue’s biggest and most expensive tour. Her opulent theatrical concert contained a wardrobe exclusively designed by master couturier Jean Paul Gaultier. The show featured at least 7 costumes just for Kylie, and throughout the tour, more visual elements were being added daily. What is it about Kylie that we aspire to when it comes to fashion?
Kylie is a role model to us all in the way that she controls the industry of fashion and music on her turf. Kylie always looks immaculate from head to toe. She is the master of gold glamour in skin appearance.
Kylie says:
For work, body make-up is essential – I don’t think there will be a day when a make-up artist doesn’t have MAC Face and Body in their kit for me.
Before I go on stage I’m completely blasted with gold. I must have ingested so much glitter on my last tour.
She follows the latest trends and tends to favour pastel colours. She is a safe dresser off stage. It is her stage fashion where she excels. She is the master of costume design in a very expensive, opulent way. Every costume is created in an exaggerated way by using Dolce & Gabbana as one of her treasured designers.
Kylie – The Abbey Road Sessions
Kylie Minogue releases her brand new album “The Abbey Road Sessions” on Parlophone Records on October 29. The album features sixteen tracks, all radically reworked, spanning Kylie’s incredible 25-year career. The album was recorded in London’s legendary Abbey Road Studios with Kylie’s band and a full orchestra. Nick Cave re-recorded his vocal on the famous duet, “Where The Wild Roses Grow”, especially for the album. She has no boundaries when it comes to the theatre like fashion. Her tours take you on a surreal journey of fashion couture.
