Browsing in Siam Paragon in Bangkok, I noticed what I thought was a fashion museum. The entrance was a display of beautiful dresses in an encased glass. Chamnan Pakdisuk has been with FLYNOW since high school, this label started as a small ladies’ wear collection in 1983, and as worked it’s way up to become one of the top names in Thailand. The collections are a mixture of many fabrics which are used with other materials such as feathers and leather. His style and designs are slimming and practical to wear. The colours vary but he loves to use metallic materials. The Asian twist to the collection works beautifully.
Flynow has 10 stand-alone shops and more than 60 concessions all over Thailand. The first stand-alone boutique opened in Singapore late last year. The designer spends much of his time in designing and taking care of “FLYNOW Gold Label” in London.
Flynow is a fabulous example of the expertise and meticulous technique of Thai dressmakers.
