The curtain raises on Fifty Shades Of Grey and Kingsmen this week, Cara Delvigne is the face of DKNY menswear campaign and the CDFA (Council Of Fashion Designers Of America) confirms the launch of the first NYFW: Men’s.
It’s all about exceptional tailoring, honed focus on materials and international menswear alliance.
This is not new territory for Gracie, she has been pioneering gender fusion style long before she became one of the few women famously reporting on menswear, and co-founded Gracie Opulanza in 2012.
Recently seen at London Collections: Men donning her pinstripe blazer and powerful string pearls to shining brightly in a Pretty Green suit, there’s no mistaking her obvious flare and loyal connections.
Her infectious smile, fabulous glasses and distinctive tone are not what sets her apart. Challenging the ‘hemmed in’ traditional values of discovering new talent, Gracie impacts events with her annoyingly brilliant, interactive broadcasting techniques. Popping umbrellas, jumping in Jaguars, cycling across lawns, she is a visionary fireball!
Diving deep into the creases and folds of personalities, she champions for the ‘real person’. Unravelling layers of ‘old school hats and coats’ dictation, revealing the true essence lying within their work and resonating it for the world to see.
With well over 100 high calibre interviews under her belt and 188k followers online between her 3 sites (Gracie Opulanza, Men Style Fashion and Sport Style Fashion) it is clear Gracie is exceptionally magnetic.
To quote the brilliant Tom Wolfe:
“You never realize how much of your background is sewn into the lining of your clothes.”
