After yesterdays impact we decided to go for a softer look and opt for pink… not a girly pink…a Gracie pink! What an impact she got. Gracie toned down everything, her over enthusiastic attitude, her looks but not her hunger to succeed. On this particular day she got manhandled at a catwalk by security. Thrown into the arms of a gorgeous soldier Dan. Yelled at by a man because she forgot his name. But hey those peacock feathers are in fine form and it’s a stressing three days for all.
Gracie Pink – Make Up
I prep Gracie’s skin as usual and blend Benefit’s “that gal” brightening face primer over her cheek bones and down the bridge of her nose. I highlight the centre of her eyelids with Too Faced ‘Classic’ eyeshadow which gives a lovely sheen and dot M.A.C ‘vanilla’ pigment colour in the inner corners. I compliment this by using M.A.C ‘pink swoon’ blush on the ‘apples’ of her cheeks and tapped LUSH ‘Dynamic’ into her primed lips.
Eye lash Power
I have prepared another pair of lashes today… customised from Shu Uemura ‘Oriental Arch’ which have a beautiful red diamonte in the middle. I decide to layer some dark lashes underneath, providing both length and definition, giving Gracie a ‘doe eyed’ appearance…. who could resist?!!
Gracie has gorgeous natural curls, it seemed the perfect partner for her softer look. I swept her hair to one side and smoothed one side flat to give an faux ‘undercut’ appearance which was pinned securely with kirby grips. I ran Trevor Sorbie ‘Curls and Waves’ curl cream through with my fingers and let her hair dry naturally. For a twist, I had prepared a hair piece… a glass pink fish!! I lifted a section of her curls and secured the fish. When we tweeted the fish, Gracie followers went crazy. A winner for sure.
Gracie’s hair was given a glossy finish with a spritz of TIGI ‘Flat Iron Shine Spray’
