Inna Panasenko
Whilst browsing the stores of Belgium, I happened to notice these gorgeous cards. The creative clever artwork instantly grabbed me. The shoe presentation is so funky and a perfect example of how the high heel stiletto can be used in an art form and the power the stiletto has over a man.
Inna Panasenko was born in Russia in 1977. Her paintings ask ‘What can a man do when coming face to face with a woman perched on stilettos?’. In this series of art prints, Inna paints shoes in leather, velvet, zebra and leopard skin with a small detail – a man gravitating towards an outrageously large shoe. Full of humour, Panasenko’s work successfully depicts the game of seduction and domination between men and women. Couldn’t agree more.
