Way back in 2023, whilst reviewing an Aston Martin I had embroidery bespoke jeans made for me. My cuffs were my storytelling of my passion for reviewing luxury cars.
So as the journey continues I am now in the famous pictures town called Hoi An in Vietnam. Famous for lanterns, Japanese design and food and cafe culture. If you want your street style to be seen, Hoi An is that town.
This was my opportunity, to showcase the embroidery jeans like never seen before.
Social Media Images
Hoi An is the place to get your social media marketing street style out there. What one wears get’s noticed and I wanted to see and hear the feedback on my embroidery art denim. As I strolled along taking in the local shops, art and people I could hear voices talking about my jeans.
Mustard Buildings
I didn’t realise how well my cuffs would match the boats of Hoi An. Let alone my nail art. The mustard colours of Hoi An made my cuffs stand out more and more and the golden sun shone on them. If there is a background that will bring out colours, it’s the old buildings painted in this golden mustard colour.
Cafe Culture
There are endless coffee shops selling Vietnamese coffee. The interior designs of tiles, wooden chairs and tables allow me to relax and take in the latest trends here in Vietnam. The coffee is different but ever so good, one of the best coffee experiences here in Asia.
How To Accessories Denim Art
Keeping your top neutral is the key, so wearing my 1980s Fendi top worked well and my golden sandals from a Serbian brand just electrified the embroidery designs on my denim. The design is so empowering for all eyes to see, the gold just brings out that design. The town is full of colour so I just stood out even more.
The magical Hoi An seemed to be loving my magical embroidery jeans. These lanterns are also hand painted, so I guess you know what I am going to ask for. Bespoke Gracie Opulanza lanterns, can you imagine.
This is an entrance to a Greek restaurant and those flowers are real. Hoi An is all about wellness of colour.
I also teamed it with my hand-painted shopping bag to embrace the beauty and ambience of the colour worn by me.
Hoi An, called Cao lầu Noodles
One of the noodles you need to try is locally made here in Hoi An, called Cao lầu. The locals explain it is Hoi An’s answer to a rice noodle dish, but it’s as different as can be from relatives like bún or phở. Cao lầu rice noodles are soaked in lye water and wood ash, giving them a distinctly firm and springy texture. When the sun shines on the Cao lầu it truly is stunning.
As I walked through the town, my jeans were being matched by vibrant local colours. The social media street style was in full trend here. people from South Korea. China and Japan flock here to showcase their take on street style. The mustard walls just ooze social media styles.
Many choose to wear the traditional Vietnamese sun hat with western clothing and pearls. You don’t have to be Alexander McQueen to get inspired to create your own embroidery jeans. I am always inspired by travel and my stories.
No matter what walk of life you come from, red is the core colour for any street-style image. That is why I opted for red nail art I knew it would team well with my blue denim.
You can place your embroidery order anytime. It does not have to be denim at all. It’s all about ones personal style.
