When I was on the 3rd Floor at Siam Center Bangkok, I noticed a window all decked out with mannequins covered in neon skeleton-inspired shapes. Once I stepped inside, it was like a wonderland full of everything creepy and cool. Welcome to Wonder Anatomie.
The various animal skulls wrapped in neon mesh and other nature inspired decor, make this a real shopping experience!
Chalermkiat Khatikasemlert
This designer Chalermkiat Khatikasemlert loves to use pieces with basic patterns. Then adorned with way out ideas is what the label is all about. His design and idea approach using the paper Birkin, has lead him to what we see in store today.
It’s certainly not for the fashion fainted hearted. That’s why I love it, personally I always like standing out. Oh my fashion gosh, this is the label for that.
The Chalermkiat’s fascination for anatomical forms and his wry sense of humour has now turned this vision to a fantastic fashion icon. His underlying philosophy is to confer these peculiar details onto the simple pattern so the customers can continue to enjoy familiar pieces, albeit with unique and at times crazy ideas.
The Adams family certainly would update their wardrobe with Wonder Anatomie.
