The combination of fine dining and luxury shopping amongst the seaside is why the rich and famous flock to showcase their wealth.
Forte Dei Marmi is a seaside town in Tuscany, Italy, known for its beaches. The Pontile is a long pier offering views of the Tyrrhenian Sea. This city features amazing views of the Apuan Alps in the background.
It has pristine endless amounts of Italian luxury brands. The retail experience here is second to none ranging from Gucci to Dolce & Gabbana. Prada, Valentino, Moncler Louis Vuitton and much more.
The uniqueness of this area is that all the luxury stores are so close and when to like me yesterday I had enough. I could opt for a swim on the seaside which is about 500m away from these fashion stores.
Made In Tuscany
There has been a new renaissance emerging in Tuscany over the last year. I have been living in a wealthy part of Tuscany, called Lucca. Forte Dei Marmi on the autostrada is only aq 35min drive. And Florence just over an hour. The location of this luxury seaside beauty is perfect for many Russians and Italians living here during the summer months. In fact, 30% of Forte Dei Marmi’s property is owned by Russians.
Street Fashion
Forte De Marmi is the place to drive your Ferrari or Bentley. To put on one’s best garments and stroll the streets. Many Milanese flocks here to have a coffee, and fresh seafood on the esplanade. Which has many options for eating and sipping prosecco. The sand is cleaned every day and many flocks are here to show off their swimwear.
The walking the dog trend is very popular. Many shop with their pets too.
Gucci bags on every corner and Italian linen in pink are the trends this year. For the women, not a hair out of place and for the men a semi-long hairstyle is always worn with the typical men’s classic fashion of white linen shirts and denim trousers with monk shoes.
Bespoke Clogs
One of my favourite finds is a shop called., Giovanni Del Forte. You can order your own bespoke clog. The options are endless from cork or wooden clog style. The cloth and leather choice combinations of fabrics are amazing. If you have a favourite London Of Liberty cloth you can bring your own fabric and they can match an outfit. Like my Pucci summer outfits.

Pietrasanta
another luxury city is called Pietrasanta. Which is 15min down the road. So if you are seeking different Italian brands. This is a wonderful place to drop by too. Some shops are also in Forte Dei Marmi too. The beauty of this seaside city is that one can never overdress. It is the perfect place to show off your fashion, cars and dogs. A Miami scene with much more class. But in the soaring heat, the locals head to Forte Dei Marmi.
I reviewed a wonderful new hotel boutique, called Il Duomo luxury Suites. During these visits in the cold winter, I fell in love with this small city.
This is my breakfast view where many locals hang out. The cakes and coffee are delicious. Wonderful fashion is worn here on the streets of Pietrasanta.
The sculptures created here out of marble are shipped all over the world. I saw some amazing works of art exclusively to me.
I bought some one-off pieces that are all Made In Italy, but from Pietrasanta and Forte Dei Marmi clients. You can see me in this video wearing the dress and the skirt. Great quality, Italian fabric, made by a Japanese designer. Many artisans sell clothes here in this city. The shopping experience is a lost art anywhere else in London and New York right now.
Vintage Drive
This is the place to get your Fiat 500 vintage car. The flat streets are not taxing on your classic car.

Ther is a Vintage 55 store in Forte Dei Marmi which is very popular but there is nothing vintage about the shop.

Forte Dei Marmi is an example of the sweet nothing of life. Known as La Dolce Vite Fare Niente. If you are seeking a lifestyle change or want to retire with your hard-working cash. Then this is your place.
Italians live a long life sipping champagne here in Tuscany. My good friend at 96, lives the dolce vita lifestyle here. Every Sunday she has a glass of champagne and her hair done.
