Due to COVID-19 and the lockdown, I have been limited with visits to beauty clinics and Spas. So how do I get a bit of daily spa and beauty opulence in my life?
I have been using Braun epilators for over twenty years. And here is my review of the Braun Silk-épil 9 Flex 9-100 Beauty and Spa Set Epilator which is a brilliant personal beauty and spa product on the market right now.
This Braun Silk-épil 9 Flex 9-100 is a fantastic alternative for removing hair and treating yourself to some facial pampering. For me, it is easy to use and it means I can avoid going to the beauty clinic. I have been using this product for three months now and I love it.
It is my only wellness and Spa treatment since February at Mallory Court Country House & Elan Spa. The packaging is compact, pretty, and perfect for travelling.
I travel a lot and the packaging is practical. The dusty pink bag with rose gold trimmings on the epilator gives a nice wellness ambiance.

Use Nivea Cream First
This facial scrubber is strong on the face. I use Nivea cream because it’s so thick. I use this cream to avoid my skin from getting red and aching.
I overdid it the first time. My skin felt like it was sunburnt. The end result after two weeks is that my skin looks brilliant. This is a real facial rejuvenating machine.
What I also do is use soap and apply it on the applicator wet. So it gently exfoliates my skin and washes all the grit.
This battery-operated brush is much more gentle on the skin. For those with sensitive skin, I would opt for this.

It’s Braun’s first of its kind product on the market. This is clever because it combines hair removal and facial cleansing together. The flexible head allows the toughest of hairs to be removed.
For me, hair removal on your face is always a challenge. With the Flexi head, it removed all those awkward hairs. The continuous light meant I could see the results instantly.
I am always left with my skin feeling rough but with this new product. The Micro-Grip tweezer technology (40 tweezers) made my skin feel very smooth. The ergonomic handle with an anti-slip grip is a great idea. I can’t tell you how many times I have dropped my old epilator in the shower.
I am not that hairy so the pressure control for effortless hair removal makes sense. Works a treat, much more efficient and accurate in removing the hair from those awkward areas.
