Last year I spotted this brand called LuLu Yasmin in Ubud Bali. From the outside this tiny boutique just screamed out to me regarding high quality garments and modern design. The interior design was really elegant and I loved the layout of the clothing and the wooden flooring. The boutique was air conditioned and the contrast between the white paint and the clothing gave an instant feel good factor. The huge mirrors and changing room with huge doors, is really a unique shopping experience within Bali.
In Bali more and more especially in places like Semiyak and Ubud this designer goes that extra mile to create gorgeous summer fabrics. The attention to detail in the collection is of a high standard. The fabrics are just beautiful and the cut and styles can be worn all around the world.
Shoes & Handbags
The latest collection of shoes are sweet but my favorite has to be these boots. A colour that is versatile and can be worn in summer as well as Autumn and Spring. The shoe collections can be worn with dresses and linen outfits. They are very light in weight and well made. The same materials are also used regarding the handbags, which look great too with casual wear let alone dressing up.
Bling & Beads
I am not a fan normally of bling outfits but looking at the current collection these are stunning. You could easily wear this during the day and then at night team it with other fabrics. A nice light denim jacket comes to mind. These dresses are stunning and if you’re staying in Bali, a gorgeous evening dress for both wedding or just chilling at a nice luxury bar.
Shorts & Dresses
I like their shorts because they are not the standard at all, in fact the design is very feminine, they add a certain class to your outfit and once again mix and maxing the fabrics with Lulu Yasmine is certainly the key here. I can clearly see that the designer really is a lover of elegance and everything girly. Shorts always are an investment and with these elegant shorts there is no excuse to showcase your legs.
Fabrics
The fabrics are divine and when you’re wearing them they just feel and look amazing. Once again some of the latest collections are a perfect showcase for a summer wedding attire. Summer weddings in Bali let alone Australia can be hard to find nice elegant comfortable dress wear. Within this boutique there is plenty of options. If you’re a lover of cocktail parties the current collections gives you plenty of evening summer wear options. The 2016 collection is all about dressing it up or dressing it down. With these fabrics I would suggest mixing and matching both fabrics and colours. Denim couture is huge in Europe now and these outfits are a perfect example of how to layer your outfit.
LifeStyle Meets Fashion
I own MenStyleFashion.com and known for being the female voice for menswear. So it is important I look elegant but able to wear comfortable clothing. Now I have entered the world of luxury lifestyle reviews and go to many cocktail events and fashion shows. I am always looking to represent designers from around the globe.
The more I travel the more it is important to look the part especially in Bali at 5 Star hotels. In Bali depending where you are I am disappointed to see women tourist dress so poorly. When I am entering these luxurious hotels I can’t see why women are choosing not to dress up. So if you’re looking to stand out whilst here in Bali, then this designer will bring out the chic side of you.
Don’t feel you have to follow everyone else here in Bali. Not bothering to make an effort. Don’t make the excuse that dressing up makes you feel too hot. Also the fabrics are cotton, linen and silk, therefore in the heat they are breathable fabrics perfectly made for this kind of heat. To those Australian women who always say, I don’t want to dress up or I need to buy an outfit only for a special occasion. For me this mindset is so dated and not living in Australia for over 20 years is still a shock to me to hear let alone see.
Ladies, it is time to embrace high end clothing and take it back home for everyone else to follow your lead no matter if you’re in Australia, Bali let alone Barcelona.
