My first encounter with Mr Urban Spotter was at London Collections: Men in January. Daniel came up to me and I was wearing a vintage mink coat. He said, my mum loves vintage fur coats. From this moment I just adored him. Who is Mr Urban Spotter? He is German, gentle and so cute. He gets on with his job. Daniel never goes into the events because for him the real catwalk happens on the street.
How Does Daniel Get His Shots
As you will see he spots the girls that are well dressed. Trust me this is a skill. But it’s more than that. Because at these fashion events you have to fast, diplomatic and quick when taking the shot. Daniel has this manner about him. So much so all the girls know if they allow him to take the shot, they will be featured on his blog. More than that they know Daniel never puts anyone online if it is a bad shot. This is a photographer rule for sure. I have had shots taken by Daniel which he has not posted. I know I am not photo genetic, hence he protects his reputation as well as mine. You see he is what he states to be. The Urban Spotter. So the next big fashion event look out for Daniel and give him the time, credit and respect. He deserves it.
