Pearls Worn By A Girl and sunglasses

If there are three epic combinations that have stood the test of time then it’s the epic pearls worn with black and white. I adore pearls but more so chunky fresh water pearls. It seems younger woman think they are for when you are forty plus. But I want to encourage any lady of any age that pearls are a girls best friend. Here are my style tips on how your should rock wearing pearls any-time with everything.

Fresh Water Chunky Pearls Necklace

The main reason I choose to wear pearls is when you are hanging about with men they soften me. They give a clear message of class, femininity and they just look great with everything. I have many sets of very long pearls necklaces. They are versatile because I can loop them around my neck as many times as I feel looks good. When I am interviewing I find they get in the way, so I take them off and wrap them around my wrist. And before you know it, over the course of the day my pearls are being worn in many different ways.

Pearl Rings & Earings

Another subtle way of completing your outfits is going for pearl rings or earrings. I opt for a mixture of silver or gold. So the ring is chunky, funky and big. I wear a lot of colours so pearl rings or earrings balance the whole outfit. I choose oversize round pearl earrings as they just look great with sharp hairstyles and again get noticed. The finish look is so chic.

That Little Black Dress & A Whole Lot Of Pearls

There is nothing more classical wearing a tight fitted black cocktail dress with chunky pearls. It just works every single time. There is something about Black and White. One that you can count on when you are not sure what to wear. Who better to have shown us that even when out for breakfast this combination will always turn heads at every event that life presents you.

Hubert Givenchy

There are dresses which are mere dresses, and there are dresses which encompass a whole world –a world that would have been a lot poorer without the aura of grace and splendour that they left in their passage. There is absolutely no doubt that Hubert Givenchy’s dress is one of the most celebrated among them. While the exquisite black satin is a caress to the senses, the pearls –embellishing both the front and the back of the dress– and opera gloves epitomize the elegance and grandeur of an ultra-feminine fashion era.

Audrey Hepburn

What makes it even more luscious though, lies far beneath the surface: Fifth Avenue, 5 a.m., Black Satin, Pearls, Sunglasses, Croissant in hand –Breakfast at Tiffany’s. It’s the allure of the definitive evening gown under the subtle light of dawn which makes it look almost ethereal. Last but definitely not least: There is no one in the whole world who could have embodied in a better way everything that the dress has to offer other than Audrey Hepburn. With her charming childishness and her petite figure Holly Golightly is simply iconic.“…The only thing that does me any good is to jump in a cab and go to Tiffany’s. Calms me down right away. The quietness and the proud look of it; nothing very bad could happen to you there. If I could find a real-life place that’d make me feel like Tiffany’s, then – then I’d buy some furniture and give the cat a name!”
