I have been reviewing cars for Audi for many years now. I was invited to my first ever Polo Match. It was the 15th anniversary of the Audi Polo Challenge. Which attracted some of the world’s top polo players, as well as VIPs including movie talent Emma Stone, Luke Evans and Gemma Arterton. Alongside those guests, there was the HRH The Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry joined forces on the field for day two of the Audi Polo Challenge 2017 charity tournament.

In today’s polo match the Audi ultra team, which included The Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry, battled it out with an Audi Quattro team led by the current England international captain James Beim. The enthralling game was played over four fast and furious chukkas and in the end, the score was 6 – 3 to Audi ultra.
300 VIP Guests From Around The World Joined Audi For This Exclusive Event
Meanwhile, on the sidelines, more than 300 VIP guests from around the world joined Audi for this exclusive event. All guests came together for two very worthwhile charities: Tusk Trust and The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity – both of which are supported by The Duke of Cambridge. The annual charity polo game was held in the beautiful setting of Coworth Park in Ascot. The evening’s entertainment was award-winning artist Ella Eyre.
Andrew Doyle, Director of Audi, says: “We are extremely proud of the Audi Polo Challenge, which has earned a deserved reputation for sporting excellence. We’re also delighted that it supports charities with the continued help and patronage of both Prince Harry and The Duke of Cambridge”.
Over the last 15 years, Audi has raised more than £2 million for various charities.

On this occasion for the first time ever, I thought I would wear the latest collections from various designers. It was important I looked tall and my outfit was able to withstand any type of weather. Being comfortable in what I wear, is important to me as it gives me the confidence to go up to anyone in this arena. At this stage of my journey, it is important that I am noticed and stand out from the crowd. I choose to take the time to team my outfit because it’s a nice ice breaker for new people that I meet. I am known for my quirky outfits which is what I am remembered for. Which is a great business tip.
To be irreplaceable you have to be different.

Stetson Scotia Panama
I have a great relationship with Stetson Europe and it’s important on this occasion for me personally to decide to wear a hat that would stand out. I chose Stetson Scotia Panama, because of its style, colour and straw material. From the moment I stepped out of the Audi A8, the dedicated photographer from Audi loved what I wore and said. Out of the 300 VIP guests, I was the only woman wearing a hat. Many guests, commented on the hat and it gave me more confidence to interact with the guests. Which were all new to me.

Uterque Jumpsuit With Central Embroidery
This literally was put on the shelf when I walked into the store. I have put on weight so my existing wardrobe is a struggle to get into. I chose to buy this jumpsuit because it had a nice elastic band around my stomach. Which is a problem at the moment for me. The moment I wore the jumpsuit, I just knew this was my outfit. I chose to team it with Dolce & Gabbana platforms due to the shoes giving me height. I have a very long torso and short legs. So this is the perfect way to create height for me and balance my overall look.
Mihaela Markovic – Bespoke Knitwear
The jumpsuit was sleeveless and I don’t like my arms been exposed. So on this occasion, I chose to wear, the stunning, cardigan from designer Mihaela Markovic. Ironically, the men loved the cardigan. It just felt and looked stunning. I would highly recommend investing in these unique pieces. They look very chic and are extremely versatile to wear on any occasions, with many different fabrics.
Mawi Necklace And Bracelet
This is not in their latest collection, but I chose to wear these Swarvoski statement pieces. Heavy and beautifully made I just adore this collection. For me, chunky jewellery is something that I can pull off every single time. The ladies throughout the day, just could not stop touching my necklace and bracelet.
Audi Innovative Company – Moon Rover
Under the watchful eyes of prince Harry and the Duke of Cambridge, one of Audi’s latest cars was unveiled to the 300 VIP guest attending this year’s Audi Polo Challenge 2017. This car does not carry passengers and it weighs only 35 kilos, it is the Audi lunar Quattro. This Moon rover had last Thursday its red carpet debut starring in the latest Alien franchise, Alien: Covenant. You can watch my interview here.
Golden Merry
Regarding trending drinks for this event. Time to ditch the Bloody Merry and go for a Golden Merry. It was perfect for a sunny Sunday afternoon.
Conclusion
Prince Harry dominated the field, he is very talented. Polo is a very expensive sport and only for those who can afford it. To give you an idea, each player owns four horses which are needed throughout the match. The sport is very exhausting on the horses which are changed every 15 minutes. Or depending, on our vigorous the match is. Polo is the perfect, sport in were dressing up can never be too much. It was so much fun to watch. Thanks to Audi UK for a great day, it was something completely different than driving the Audi R8 Spider or the latest Audi Q2.
