I was born in in rural country Australia and one of my favourite fashion brands I loved to shop at was Country Road Australia. I have always admired its marketing regarding casual chic wear and how it prides itself regarding the quality of the clothing over the years. So it was wonderful to be able to pop into the South Yarra store in Melbourne Australia to reconnect to Country Road. It has been 10 years since I last visited the brand.
Luxury Travel Challenges
I am currently on a three month luxury travel tour, throughout Europe, Asia and Australia. The biggest challenge is what to wear and take whilst experiencing 5 Star hotels and luxury cars. I am always aware to look my best at all times no matter what the weather. The weather in 2017 around the globe, could not be more extreme regarding these continents. Currently in Europe they are experiencing a heatwave called Lucifer. In Asia it is always hot and humid. And currently in Melbourne Australia its one of the coldest winters in many years.

It’s important for me that the quality of the clothing looks good for a long period of time. In a saturated market where fast fashion rules. I was intrigued to experience the Country Road style after so many years.

Luxury Hotels Attire For 2017
In the last few months, I have reviewed over 50 hotels. I am always observing other women in trying to understand what women are choosing to wear at luxury hotels but at the same time importantly feels comfortable. Sporty Couture for women in the last year has really taken off. The biggest game-changer in fashion in the last year is the redesign of chic trainers (sneakers). So for me combing comfortable stylish footwear is the biggest challenge of all. The other challenge is the weight of my clothing whilst travelling. At the moment I am changing hotels every two days. Black is always a safe and versatile colour to go for because I can add and mix and match.
At the moment I have gained weight so that’s a mental struggle for me to look in the mirror and realising, I am not looking slim or my personal best. Country Road Australia clothing gave me the confidence I needed.
When it comes to quality fabrics, I have always never compromised on this however when travelling that is hard to master. So I like to combine both inexpensive brands with quality fabrics because it makes practical sense.
Intercontinental Melbourne The Rialto Batwing Jumpsuit
I was hosted by the 5 star Intercontinental Melbourne The Rialto. This hotel is located in the CBD (central Melbourne). It is a beautiful historical building with ample of options regarding dressing up. On Saturday and Sunday, there is high tea, which is so popular with females. Lots of females go here for a classy hens party or entertaining their mum. In recent years the popularity of high teas both in Australia and the UK has increased. This for me is the perfect occasion to dress up. For this occasion, I chose to wear my Batwing Jumpsuit. I was entertaining a business meeting and thought the jumpsuit was chic, non-intimidating and set my business tone. The colour black can always be teamed with other colours and my chunky pearls. The elastic waist band means I could eat more cakes, drink champagne and espresso martinis. Black is very slimming on me and I don’t have to worry about what others think regarding my personal style.

Driving Luxury Cars – Jaguar F-PACE SUV
In the last 14 days, I have been promoting the luxury Jaguar F-PACE. This car is rare at the moment in Australia and everywhere I went it was turning heads and getting a lot of attention. I made a conscious effort to look stylish too because at this level it’s the perfect occasion to dress smartly. This Batwing jumpsuit was brilliant regarding both looks, comfort whilst driving around Melbourne. It’s flexibility allowed me to look good and be able to drive very comfortably in the SUV. This jumpsuit can be worn anywhere during any climate at any luxury 5-star hotel. That is why I chose it. I find hotels with air conditioning can be very cold so this jumpsuit ticked all the boxes regarding warmth, style and comfort.
Hair Style And Make Over
I decided to change my hair colour to black again mainly because I am travelling so much it is easy to manage. In Asia they are at amazing doing manicure and pedicure, it’s done like no other in the world. So I chose to go for red toes and pink glitter and they were the perfect colour combinations to match my outfits too.
W Hotel Bangkok
I have reviewed many W Hotels around the globe and knew that when it came to fashion this hotel had ample opportunities to showcase the rest of my Country Road style. There were many men wearing bling outfits and business suits. As for the ladies I noticed they were opting to wear black too. Throughout the W Hotel Bangkok, the lighting is very dark and the interior design is inspired by dragons and phoenix images.
When checking in I chose to wear the batwing jumpsuit because it set the tone of feeling and looking casual chic. I have a long torso and short legs so I opted for a size ten and could team it with gold sandals.
This Batwing Jumpsuit is also the perfect disco fever dancing outfit. Or in my case boxing the night away.
DJ Country Road Australia
In the 90’s I was a local DJ entertaining every weekend in front of hundreds of people. So I thought I would hit the decks once again choosing to wear the Satin Soft Bomber Jacket.
It is a colour that has always been in my wardrobe no matter what the season let alone the occasion. I teamed it with shorts and also Satin Culotte this is a very comfortable outfit, sporty chic and versatile because you can mix and match the two pieces. The colours once again can be worn anywhere, any season perfect for luxury travel.

Milano Knit Trench – The House on Sathorn
When I saw the Milano Knit Trench dress it reminded me of my Italian grandmother’s wardrobe. I opted for an XS because this knit trench has to be as figuring as possible. It is very heavy but I fell so in love with it, I had to choose it. This Milano Knit Trench can be worn for business at a funeral or simply at work. It is a staple piece that will stay in my wardrobe forever. In a saturated market as fashion, I am very conscious of not being wasteful regarding my wardrobe and I chose clothes that can last for a long time. This Milano Knit Trench is very popular, so I would hurry and buy it. As day turns into night I was then hosted by The House On Sathorn. The House on Sathorn is a colonial mansion built in 1889 and is Thai national heritage home on Sathorn Road in the heart of Bangkok. I was asked to experience The Dining Room which has just been listed in Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants for 2017.

Stripe Metallic Logo Tote
I have always loved Country Road Tote bags. They are practical, stylish and functional. I chose the Stripe Metallic Logo Tote because it matched my outfits and looks very feminine. I am currently using it as a swim and gym bag. For those who want to get back into shape, boxing is a brilliant way for me to get back into shape, so plenty of space for my red boxing gloves.
