When in Venice one has to walk this city in style. Over the last few years, the transformation of the traditional trainer has surpassed sales of high heels. A training shoe tipping point has been reached. And now more than ever, comfort and style is a priority.
How many shoes do you take and never wear them due to the lack of comfort and support?
I rarely wear high heels for years now, my back hates them.
Do you struggle with finding trainers that match your style?
There are endless styles and brands to choose by. It all comes down to your personality.
Walking in many churches with roof top views requires many stairs. You need the right trainers to do so and Italy is famous for fashion so make sure you don’t compromise your style with comfort.
White is perfect for hot days and summer.
Venice Italy
I am here for a month and Venice is a city of walking. Only by foot one can explore the inner beauty hidden in the narrow streets of Venice. It is to die for.
The first two days I chose to wear stylish sandal’s and my back paid for it. I hate wearing trainers in the heat I like my feet to breathe but I had to finally opt for trainers.
How did I buy my trainer style so when travelling I bought only two pairs with me? I am travelling indefinitely and living a minimalist life it is tough I must say.
St Marco Square
Puma
I never thought I would buy a white. It is so hard to keep clean. But it was the frills that I fell in love with first. I have not seen anything like this in the last two years. I feel the niche that who I am. I bought these they are a limited edition from Puma and have no idea what year they are from.
I love to team them with frilly stockings so it limits the heat factor. I hate stinky trainers so I will always opt wearing them with socks.
They are super perfect and comfortable to walk Venice. They look fab with everything.
They turn heads every time I go out in them. They are perfect for every outfit. They match my dresses, shorts and trousers. I am nervous about walking in them as they are white. I have been asked numerous times where I got them from.
The chunky multicolour soles are super chic and so bang on trend now. Not that I care about trends!
Trust me this city is worth exploring every part of and you need good comfortable supporting shoes to outlast Venice.
The famous Rialto Bridge where everyone stands to get a shot! I have never walked over so many bridges as I do here in Venice.
Road and railway bridges, viaducts, aqueducts and footbridges are included. In all, Venice has some 400 bridges.
Stepping into a gondola requires balance and trainers are perfect for that.
You are competing with the most fashionable, stylish cities in the world. If you can’t dress in style where then when can you.
What do you think of my Puma style?
