I truly believe that growth comes from outside of your comfort zone! We must give permission to be who we want to be. Even if we don’t have the blueprint yet.
But it’s fear that get’s in the way of our dreams.
Discovering what you want to do in life is, for many people, a life-long pursuit. From the time you graduate college you start asking yourself what career would best suit your interests and skills, but often you choose something different than your instinctual response to that question, either out of necessity or concern for security. We are who we choose to be. Nobody knows what you want except for you, and nobody will be as sorry as you if you don’t get it. While decisions that take you on a more secure path provide you with the staples of comfortable living and give you some peace of mind in regular work.
However, if you aren’t doing something that is aligned with your passion, it is very unlikely that you will feel fulfilled or truly happy with your life.
Learn to live the life you like and like the life, you live and it’s alright if you don’t have all the answers right now.
I never designed a crochet dress before. I used experts to create my dream dress. Fast fashion is not forever.
Fear Versus Courage
What could you accomplish if you were not afraid to fail? Last year, I left my comfortable office job. I spent most of 30 years in supply chain and business architecture. I had a dream. I developed a plan. I executed my plan and made revisions to plan b,c…z were necessary to achieve the objective which was my dream.
Moral of the story: Don’t let the endless pursuit of one dream keep you from even bigger dreams and finding purpose. Know when to walk away.
Change Your Habits
The above insight shared is indeed timely. I likewise regard verisimilitude as a way of encouraging societal adaptation and self-improvement. This attitude is truly a method for seeking the higher self. The view, “be yourself” often miss the concept of how individuals develop and transform through the behavioural influence of others, whether parental, television and media personalities, friends, people we admire, or a combination.
In that case, one must transform according to one’s comfort and liking.
I’m a dreamer. But sometimes I allow my dreams to get salted by or even altogether STOPPED by people I know. Dreaming Big is absolutely good! Impossible dreams can actually happen.
Could it be, “If you do not live the way you think, you will end to think about how to live?”
The glass is never empty. It will be always half full”. “There are two kinds of people: the ones who see a problem and the ones who see an opportunity to change”
Fear Must Be Confronted
Maybe the groundwork is there I’ve just been letting fear hold me back and trying to build the path to getting there. Noticing a lot of bosses I have had through the years, I think except for just getting the experience I think I could have done it. Even some who only did just that and boss.
I quit my job to be free from being told by my bosses about what to do and how to behave.
Going with the flow and acting on moments now. Don’t delay during this pandemic. There is only a small window of opportunities.
Knowing what we truly want to be is crucial in our lives. The essence of envisioning our preferred state, examine and describe sufficiently our current realities will always give us a creative tension to design strategies to be that we want to be, and so the main important thing is to keep focused with determination to create and adjust.
I work with luxury car brands that I had no former training for.
Not Got The Blueprint
My Blueprint is filed in my computer and in my heart. The only thing I do not have is real experience working with the Experts until this year. This year is a breakthrough for me. I am grateful to the Team of Artists who stand by me.
Agile shows it’s impossible to know what the blue pint must contain until the self-managing team is close to the New State. Lean documents why it’s wasting money to complete a BluePrint before beginning the work of identifying pain & waste points
Inspiring words brings to mind a quote of Eleanor Roosevelt’s:
“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”
Mental health during this lockdown has taken its toll. But you can’t let that defeat you. I give hope here in Venice for leather artisans to get online and be noticed.
What Is Hope?
We must have the audacity of hope to be who we want to be. Start working on that blueprint. The next steps will unfold. Clarity always comes after taking action. In the last year, I have worked in Tuscany and Venice giving hope to artisans who feel there is no future. It’s my call to action by physically meeting people for new business.
It’s in the hope, I can’t see is why I am just living. Communicating and chatting with people. Not having fear to ask if they want to work with me.
I take pictures of products in a lifestyle setting. Capturing the essence of the creator’s passion.
I do feel like Moses walking the desert not knowing which direction to head. But I am guided not by fear but by hope. I visit new exhibitions like La Biennale to inspire my creativity.
