Matrix was all about leather fashion portraying a tough image in a virtual battlefield of sci-fi movies. I am a huge lover of leather and anything that defines me in action. Is always about fashion role-play. Growing up in rural Australia I was always being bullied due to being Italian. I was in the minority and just did not fit in due to the skin of my colour. Leather to me watching movies was always portrayed as a tough martial arts image like Grace Jones and Brigitte Nielsen.
Leather Fashion Photo Shoot
Matrix was all about leather fashion portraying a tough image in a virtual battlefield of sci-fi movies. Leather commands that message of tough love. When I wear leather it empowers me to take on new challenges. In the world of fashion bullying is very much part of the industry. So dressing in black and giving out a message that I won’t be taken down lightly is how I cope at fashion weeks.
What does Trinity Represent In The Matrix?
Why Is Trinity Important To Neo?
What kind of glasses did Trinity wear in The Matrix?
On this occasion, I wore vintage Karen Millen knee-high boots. I teamed it with Mui Mui eyewear which was not overall a good look. So don’t wear anything regarding eyewear than black sunglasses like Trinity did.
So the image below I created for my Ford Mustang car review was inspired by the Trinity Matrix film.
It is important to understand and do a mood board of why you are wanting to wear black leather. Why do you want to convey a tough female image?
Knee High Platforms
I chose to wear black knee-high platforms. Which I sadly gave away. I bought them twenty years ago from a British brand called Russell and Bromley. The leather hide was of high quality and the platforms are easy to move around when you are doing action moves for my photoshoot.
My eyewear is vintage Fendi teamed with Swarovski crystals.
Have fun playing the Trinity role in your combat world. Ask others for advice on making sure you feel powerful and confident in what you are wearing when it comes to leather style.
