When in Tuscany the reason we come is for the food, views, fashion, and classic car experience. I live on an estate with amazing Tuscany views. One of my passions is driving classic cars. I loved doing the jaguar UK Classic car track experience.
But for me owning classic cars is about the lifestyle and reliving the engineering of the past. Connecting with an era of the past and how it would have been like to drive in those years. I love the clunkiness and the changing of the gears. It’s all about driving and living in the understanding that the car may break down. I love observing the engineering and the handmade skill used to create these fabulous cars.
Love the emotion these cars give me. The owner is 23 years old and he loves taking it out with his mates to the beach.
Fiat started making cars in 1899. The company is still around today, making cars like the 500, Balilla, Spider, Topolino, and the Panda.
There is nothing more beautiful than Tuscany and driving though it is unbelievable.
Fiat 124 Spider Lusso I drove in Wales UK for its new car launch. But this classic car is much better.
The views and hills where I live are spectacular. It’s like living in a fairytale. The narrow roads, the food, the vineyards, and olive trees are just a reminder of why so many would love to live here in Italy.
Tuscany is the perfect lockdown retreat.
This has to be Italy’s iconic car. originally built for small cities as a cheap car. But now this vintage car is used on a Sunday outing exploring with family or friends the views of Tuscany. This car is slow and small and it’s all about the lifestyle.
This particular colour beige was one of the first original colours used. I personally love red.
Fiat Balilla for more is an elegant car with beautiful engineering. I adore the blood ox colour. The cloth interior is beautiful. This car is like the clothes that my mother wore. I love the history it oozes. I would wear a shift dress with this car.
I am wearing a vintage Moschino crochet cardigan. and my lioness copper belt made in Italy. The Gucci eyewear is from 2014. My boots are 13 years old from a UK brand.
These classic cars are like vintage clothing timeless, high quality, and full of personality.
As a mother of two, I love taking my children in classic cars to teach them history, lifestyle, and the way men and women progressed throughout history in the automobile industry. I wonder what 1920s vintage clothing they wore?
It’s a tough lockdown life right now and I do this for my mental health and overcoming this crazy world.
